Jamie Carragher uses Steven Gerrard's book to help send son to sleep

Jamie Carragher mocks Steven Gerrard's book by giving it to his son James to help the youngster fall asleep.

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has taken a playful swipe at his ex-teammate Steven Gerrard by mocking the midfielder's new book.

Gerrard, who now plays for MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy, released his autobiography My Story last month, detailing his 17 years at Liverpool.

On Instagram, Carragher poked fun at the former Liverpool captain by suggesting that his young son James has been reading Gerrard's book to help him fall asleep.

The retired centre-back wrote: "James has been struggling to sleep of late.....only one thing to cure that!"
