Ryan Giggs made his first public appearance since being named the assistant manager to new Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal by featuring on a Dubai television show.
The Welshman, who announced his retirement from playing shortly after Van Gaal was confirmed as the new United boss yesterday, took part in new football show The Victorious.
The 40-year-old took a break from his holiday in the Middle East to appear alongside Argentina legend Diego Maradona in a full football kit and boots for the debut show, which aims to find the next football talent in the United Arab Emirates.
