A Middlesbrough fan has been accused of urinating in Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Alex Smithies's water bottle during a Championship match between the two sides.
Video footage showing a Boro fan holding the container close to his crotch for a moment before screwing its cap back in place and tossing it to the turf behind the QPR goal has surfaced online.
According to The Mirror, it is unclear whether Smithies later drank from the bottle, but the fan involved is said to have been ejected from the stadium and later arrested by Metropolitan Police's Football Unit.
