A number of Premier League footballers have reportedly refused to appear on BBC One show Top Gear, according to presenter Jeremy Clarkson.
The 53-year-old has claimed that insurance risks have put footballers off demonstrating their driving skills on the show.
"It's weird," the Daily Star quotes Clarkson as saying. "Some say their insurers won't take the risk. But Hollywood stars have the same issues and say yes."
The show has a regular feature that allows celebrities and sportsmen to do a timed car challenge.
