Former England international Paul Gascoigne reportedly faces homelessness after his latest drinking binge left him hospitalised.
Police and paramedics were sent to the ex-Tottenham Hotspur star's flat in Dorset after he was seen slumped outside clutching a bottle of vodka, according to The Mirror.
Gascoigne is said to have been in the process of eviction from his £3m rented penthouse apartment in the Sandbanks area of Poole following noise complaints from neighbours.
The 47-year-old, who has struggled with alcoholism for many years, was reportedly taken to Poole Hospital for treatment.
Gascoigne checked himself into a £6,000-a-month clinic in Southampton in January in a bid to quit booze, his seventh attempt to receive professional help.
The incident comes shortly after Gascoigne signed for Sunday league side Abbey Windows FC, who purchased him for a fee of just £8.
