Unbeaten pound-for-pound boxing king Floyd Mayweather has reportedly placed a bet just shy of £4m on tonight's NBA decider in the Eastern Conference.
'Money' Mayweather has backed the Miami Heat to win against the Indiana Pacers in game seven of their Eastern Conferecne final series to the tune of £3.85m, according to Business Insider.
Mayweather has previous for betting big on sporting events, regularly tweeting pictures of winning wagers on a whole host of sporting events in the past two years.
The 34-year-old stands to win just under £400,000 if Miami triumph and advance to the NBA finals, with the Heat enjoying home-court advantage against Indiana this evening.
A 30-month deal with Showtime signed earlier this year made Mayweather the highest-earning athlete in the world, despite having no sponsorship deals or product endorsements to his name.
Mexican light-middleweight star Saul Alvarez was chosen by Mayweather as his next opponent last week, with the hotly-anticipated clash due to take place in September 14.
