The bail hearing of Oscar Pistorius's murder charge has been adjourned at Pretoria Magistrates' Court until tomorrow, stretching the hearing into a third day.
The 26-year-old has been charged with the premeditated killing of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, who was shot in the elbow, hip and head through a bathroom door at the Paralypmic champion's home last week.
Investigating officer Hilton Botha, who has told the court that he believes the double amputee should not be granted bail as he is a flight risk, revealed that two bottles of what he believed to be testosterone were found, along with needles, at his home following the discovery of Steenkamp's body.
The defence, who are arguing for a schedule five offence, which would give the athlete a better chance of achieving bail, rebuffed these claims, stating that the substance found was a legal herbal remedy.
The prosecution also revealed that they had a witness statement claiming that "non-stop fighting" could be heard from the house for an hour on the morning of Steenkamp's death.
Botha also claimed that he found no inconsistencies in Pistorius's version of events.
The hearing will be concluded this week.
