The United Nations have suspended Maria Sharapova as a goodwill ambassador following her failed drugs test.
The 28-year-old announced earlier this month that she had tested positive for meldonium at January's Australian Open.
It was recently confirmed that the International Tennis Federation had provisionally banned Sharapova while an investigation is launched, and the UN have now taken the same decision.
Sharapova has held the position with the intergovernmental organisation since 2007.
