Stoke City striker Michael Owen has signed up to become a co-commentator for BT Sport's football coverage next season.
Owen has previously stated that he wants to set up an agency to help young talents coming through the ranks, but it appears that the 33-year-old is also keen to carve out a media career.
The broadcasters have confirmed that the striker, who will retire at the end of the season, will join their team along with former players Owen Hargreaves, Steve McManaman and David James, who will all act as pundits.
BBC presenter Jake Humphrey has been confirmed as the main anchor for BT Sport's Premier League coverage, while Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand will work for the broadcasters as an interviewer and football expert.
