Silver-medal winning shooter Steffen Olsen has said that the mixed team 10m air rifle event at the European Games in Baku was "too rushed".
The 32-year-old, who also competed in three individual events, finished second alongside Stine Nielsen earlier today to secure the silver.
Olsen told reporters: "There are pros and cons. The fact that there are points is really good because even though you shoot a bad shot you can still come back and win the next couple of points. But the two minutes of preparation is a bit too short and five shots from each of us to decide the event is too few.
"If you look at the [50m rifle] 3 positions final, for instance, for the first discipline we have five minutes sighting, so that might be enough. Instead of first to five points, they could do first to seven or first to nine to at least get a few more shots going before decided who won.
"I think it is nice there is a team event but this is too much pressure and too rushed."
Denmark currently sit 30th in the medals table.
