Mark Selby has beaten Shaun Murphy 6-2 to reach the final of the China Open.
Selby showed why he jumped above Judd Trump to become world number one in the early stages of this match, storming into a 3-0 lead.
Murphy took a close fourth frame but a 63 break restored Selby's lead and he closed out victory with relative ease.
He will play either Neil Robertson or Stephen Maguire, who meet in the second semi-final, in Sunday's final in Beijing.
