World number one Mark Selby has been knocked out of the World Championship after a surprise 10-3 defeat to Barry Hawkins in the first round.
Selby, who only recently recovered from a neck injury, is the eighth seed to exit this year's tournament at the Crucible.
"I'm happy I managed to get here and give myself a chance," he told BBC Sport.
World number 22 Hawkins will now play Matthew Stevens for a place in the quarter-finals.
