Judd Trump reeled off four frames in a row from 4-2 down to beat Dominic Dale in the opening round of the UK Championship in York.
The 22-year-old, who reached the final of the world championship earlier this year, will now face four-time champion Ronnie O'Sullivan in round two.
'Rocket' Ronnie eased past veteran Steve Davis 6-1 on Sunday.
Davis, 54, a six-time world champion in the '80s, won the opening frame after an impressive century break but failed to replicate this form in the following six frames, which were all won by O'Sullivan.
