Britain's young diving star Tom Daley has admitted that he is not getting carried away ahead of the Olympic Games in London next summer.
The teenager is a former 10-metre platform world champion and double gold medalist at the Commonwealth Games but is apprehensive about being too optimistic ahead of next summer's spectacular.
Daley told Sky Sports News: "I don't particularly think of any expectations for 2012.
"I don't think about outcome goals, I think about going in there and trying to do the best performance I can.
"I can only concentrate on my performance and then the results will look after themselves. There are eight people that can come away with a gold medal, so it will be interesting to see what will happen."
Despite being only 17-years-old, the Olympics next summer will be Daley's second after he represented Team GB in Beijing in 2008.
