Team GB curler Greg Drummond: 'We'll be back'

Great Britain curler Greg Drummond claims that his team's second-placed finish in the men's curling competition has "increased his appetite" for more Olympic medals.

Great Britain athlete Greg Drummond has claimed that his team's second-placed finish in the men's curling competition at the Sochi Winter Games has "increased his appetite" for more Olympic medals.

Team GB made it all the way to the final at the Ice Cube Curling Centre, before losing 9-3 to Canada.

Despite the defeat, David Murdoch's team have nonetheless secured the competition's silver medal, and the 25-year old told BBC Sport: "Silver has increased our appetite for more.

"Right now we will enjoy this, take some time away from the sport for the summer, but I want to then come back and focus on the next Olympics."

The Great Britain men's curling team will be presented with their silver medals in a ceremony this evening at 5pm GMT.
