The Great Britain men's curling team have defeated their United States counterparts 5-3 in today's Olympic round robin game at the Ice Cube Curling Centre in Sochi.
Team GB raced into a 3-0 lead after three ends, extending it to 4-1 by the halfway mark, and never relinquished their advantage in the subsequent rounds.
David Murdoch's team is currently in second place with four wins in five games, behind China.
In other results, Switzerland beat the Russian Federation 6-7, Canada registered a narrow 7-6 victory against Denmark, and in a Scandinavian derby, Norway narrowly defeated Sweden 4-5.
