United States snowboarder Alex Deibold has said that the effort and "sacrifice" he put into winning the bronze medal in Tuesday's snowboard cross was all well worth it.
Deibold took bronze just ahead of France's Paul-Henri de le Rue in the race won by Pierre Vaultier, and said that without the support that he received he would not have been able to work as hard as he needed to in order to make the podium.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me, I wouldn't be here with out you. All that hard work & sacrifice was totally worth it. #grateful
