The Carolina Panthers hold a three-point lead over the Seattle Seahawks in their NFL clash at the break.
The Panthers had a good start to the game as they halted the visitors on their first possession, and then managed to find their way into the redzone.
However, they were prevented from reaching the endzone by the Seahawks as Graham Gano kicked a 31-yard field goal.
Carolina moved the ball well again and got right to the goalline, but the Seahawks' defense stepped up and made three crucial stops to keep the home side out of the endzone. Gano was called upon again to kick a 26-yard field goal.
From the kickoff Seattle responded as Paul Richardson ran the ball back to the halfway line, but the offense failed to threaten the endzone. However, Steven Hauschka was on hand to fire a 58-yard field goal through the posts.
The Seahawks had the chance to score just before the half but Russell Wilson's pass to the endzone was picked off by Josh Norman to quell the drive.
