Cleveland Browns star Josh Gordon has conceded that there is still plenty of room for improvement for him on an individual level.
Gordon has accrued 195 yards over two starts since returning from his suspension, but there have also been moments of miscommunication between himself and quarterback Brian Hoyer.
"I know in my mind I'm not where I want to be, because I'd like for it to be just second nature and for me to not have to think about it," Gordon said, the Plain Dealer reports.
"[Before] I'd hear half the play in the huddle and still know what to do. But it's not like that right now so I have to compensate and study a little more than everybody else. I'm playing catch-up. I've got a long way to go to be where I want to be."
The 23-year-old has caught just 15 of 29 passes thrown his way so far this season, and he admits that he is still adjusting to Kyle Shanahan's playbook.
