Cleveland Browns cornerback Joe Haden has signed a lucrative five-year contract extension with the team.
Haden was entering the final year of his rookie contract in Cleveland and revealed earlier this month that talks had begun over an extension.
The 24-year-old broke the news of his deal on Twitter, with the extension running through to 2019 and worth $68m (£40.4m), including $45m (£26.8m) guaranteed.

The deal comes less than a week after Richard Sherman became the NFL's highest-paid cornerback, and although Haden has more money guaranteed, the length of his deal means that the Seattle Seahawks man is still the league's most expensive player in his position.
