Denver Broncos' John Elway not worried by off-season departures

Denver Broncos general manager John Elway admits that he is not too worried about the losses his side have sustained from their roster in the off-season.

Denver Broncos general manager John Elway has insisted that he is not worried about the departures of several players from his side's roster in the off-season.

Julius Thomas, Rahim Moore, Terrance Knighton, Orlando Franklin and Nate Irving have all left the club over the past few weeks, leaving several gaps in the club's starting lineup.

However, Elway is confident that the Broncos can use the remaining time in free agency and the 2015 Draft to fill the void from their off-season departures.

"There's plenty of guys out there and there's plenty of time," Elway told The Denver Post. "What you have to keep in mind is we think we're going to get 10 Draft picks and we only have 53 roster slots.

"So it's hard to bring these guys in and give them a lot of money up front to compete because what do you do if one of those young guys prove they're ready? We'll do something. We're just not in a rush."

The Broncos were eliminated from the playoffs in the divisional round in the 2014 season.
