Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders has declared that his side have to win the Super Bowl in the 2014 season for their campaign to be considered a success.
The Broncos reached the Super Bowl in the 2013 season but they were hammered by the Seattle Seahawks at MetLife Stadium, while they club were defeated in the divisional round of the playoffs by the Indianapolis Colts in the last campaign.
However, Sanders has revealed his ambition to lift the Vince Lombardi trophy in the 2015 season under new head coach Gary Kubiak.
"The message was definitely world championship from the start," Sanders told reporters. "The focus is bringing a world championship to this city.
"We want to get back there and we want to win it. The main focus of this group is to win a Super Bowl. That's the expectation. If we don't bring a Super Bowl to this city this year, then it's a bust season."
The Broncos last won the Super Bowl in the 1998 season.
