John Fox disappointed with Denver Broncos' end to season

John Fox admits that he was disappointed with the Denver Broncos' performance in the Super Bowl three weeks ago.

Denver Broncos head coach John Fox has admitted that it was a shame that his side could not finish off a good season with victory in the Super Bowl.

Despite having the strongest offense throughout the season, the Broncos fell to a heavy 43-8 defeat to the Seattle Seahawks three weeks ago, which Fox said was a "disappointing" end to the season.

"First of all, I'd give Seattle tremendous credit for playing very well, and playing better than we did," told the Broncos' official website. "We were capable of playing better. Not taking anything away from them, because they had a lot to do with it.

"It was disappointing that we didn't play better. I thought we had a great season and unfortunately did not have our best effort in the last game."

Fox has been Broncos coach since 2011.
