Calvin Johnson has said that the Detroit Lions need to cut out the number of turnovers.
The NFC North side have lost their last two games, leaving them level in their division with the Chicago Bears.
The wide receiver told the team's website: "Turnovers are the reason we are where we are right now. That's why we lost the last two, obviously, because of turnovers. Until we break that problem we will continue to keep ourselves in these stressful situations in games.
"We correct it by working on it. Whether it be carrying the ball on the outside arm so that the defense can't have a clean shot at it or just making the play.
"Obviously we see it on film and we were out there on the field working on it in our receiving group, just holding the ball high and tight and keeping it up against the body, keeping it away from the defenders."
The Lions face the Green Bay Packers tomorrow.
