Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson has had a Transformers action figure of himself made by Nike and Hasbro.
Johnson, nicknamed 'Megatron' for his record-breaking exploits on the field, has had the action figure made as part of a shoe deal.
Nike sponsor the 28-year-old's shoes and teamed up with Transformers creators Hasbro to make the Nike CJ81 Megatron Trainer Max with a matching Megatron Decepticon toy.
"Never thought that would happen. They are coming out with a little package or something like that," Johnson is quoted as saying by ESPN.
"It's going to be cool. It's a cool little deal. I think kids will like it. I think everybody will like it. It's cool shoes, plus you get a little toy."
Nike are also releasing two more Megatron trainer styles, with a limited edition package of all three with the action figure available to just 81 people as a nod towards Johnson's shirt number at the Lions.
