Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has said that a decision on his fitness will be made at least 24 hours before their game with the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
Rodgers has been edging nearer to a return from a broken collarbone this week, with Packers coach Mike McCarthy refusing to rule him out when he spoke on Tuesday.
After continuing his rehab by participating in individual drills during practice, Rodgers told reporters: "I think by Friday or Saturday at the latest there will be a decision.
"It's tough not to be out there with the guys, that's where the frustration lies. It's tough to see us not winning football games, but I need to take some of my own advice – worry about the things you can control.
"And I can't control the healing of my bone. It's frustrating."
The Packers are winless since Rodgers sustained his injury, with their playoff hopes fading thanks to their 5-6-1 record in the NFC North.
