Houston Texans expect Brian Cushing to pass concussion test

Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing is expected to pass the league's concussion test tomorrow.

The Houston Texans have said that they expect Brian Cushing to pass the NFL's concussion protocol ahead of this weekend's game.

The linebacker picked up the head injury during the team's overtime defeat to the Seattle Seahawks last week.

Head coach Gary Kubiak told the team's website: "He won't get through that probably until Friday but he's headed in the right direction. He's doing good and participated today, which has to happen throughout the course of the week."

The Texans face the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
