Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano has revealed that he is open to making changes to his side if it helps them win more matches.
The Colts were condemned to a shock 38-8 defeat at the hands of the St Louis Rams on Sunday, leaving Pagano keen to evaluate why his side fell to their worst home loss in 20 years.
The 53-year-old believes that his team did not give themselves a chance to win the match and warned his players that he would be looking at every area of the team in an effort to avoid a similar defeat taking place again.
"We didn't do much of anything to give ourselves a chance in any of the phases. Certainly not in the beginning and middle or the end to give us a chance to play, compete and win that football game," Pagano told reporters.
"We'll continue to look at every area of our football team and address things that need to be addressed. Not only the offensive line. The wide receivers, the back end, whatever it is. We're going to do whatever is best for this football team and whatever gives us the best chance to win a football game.
"I know we got to block better, we got to run better. We got to be on the same page. Somehow, some way we have to be able to run the football. It makes it difficult because you become one-dimensional. When people take that away from you and you got to drop back and throw it every time, then they're teeing off and they're not honouring the run game. So our inability to run the football of late, it hurts your football team."
Despite the defeat, the Colts remain top of the AFC South with a 6-3 record.
