Baltimore Ravens come from behind to beat Jacksonville Jaguars

The Baltimore Ravens come from behind in the second half to secure a 20-12 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Baltimore Ravens overturned a half-time deficit to clinch a 20-12 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in the NFL this evening, shutting their opponents out in the second half.

The Ravens made a bright start to the game when they blocked a punt, leaving rookie receiver Kamar Aiken to recover it and run it back for a touchdown.

The Jaguars quickly responded though, as kicker Josh Scobee split the uprights with a season-long 54-yard field goal before adding a second a few minutes later.

Blake Bortles got the visitors back downfield again with a long pass to Allen Hurns, but could not find the endzone, leaving Scobee to add another field goal to edge Jacksonville in front.

Justin Tucker briefly put the Ravens back in front after Owen Daniels had narrowly missed out on a touchdown, but Scobee kicked again just before the break to leave the AFC South side ahead at the interval.

Baltimore started the third quarter strongly, leaving Joe Flacco to pick out Daniels with a short pass to the tight end in the corner of the endzone.

The Jaguars tried a fake punt to get them back into the game, but Bryan Anger's short pass failed to lead to a score for the visitors.

Tucker added another field goal late on to leave the Jaguars needing a two-point conversion and a touchdown to force overtime, but Bortles threw an interception to Jeromy Miles in the final seconds to ensure that the Ravens held on for the win.

The result leaves the Ravens third in the AFC North with a 9-5 record, while the Jaguars slip to 2-12.
