Jamaal Charles: Kansas City Chiefs will be "explosive"

Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles believes that the team will be "explosive" in 2013.

Jamaal Charles has said that the Kansas City Chiefs will be "explosive" in the 2013 NFL season.

The AFC West side have made numerous changes to their coaching staff after finishing last season with the worst record in the league, winning just two of their 16 games.

The running back told NFL AM: "I ain't never been around no offense that's about to be explosive and about to put me in space and making me make plays.

"I ran it my rookie year and I love it. I see Frank Gore had success with it with the [San Francisco] 49ers. If he can have success, I hope I can have success as well."

Charles recorded 1,509 rushing yards in 2012.
