The Miami Dolphins have dismissed offensive line coach Jim Turner and head trainer Kevin O'Neill after both men were named frequently in Ted Wells's investigative report.
The report, which looked into the bullying of Dolphins offensive lineman Jonathan Martin by three of his teammates, found both Turner and O'Neill guilty of doing very little to stop the dressing room incidents, despite being aware of them.
Dolphins owner Stephen Ross said in statement: "The language and behavior as described in the Ted Wells report are against the core values of our organisation.
"After receiving the report, I conducted my own internal review of the facts to determine the appropriate steps for our organisation.
"Jim Turner and Kevin O'Neill are good people who care a great deal about their profession and the players whom they serve, but both exhibited poor judgment at times which led me to this conclusion."
O'Neill had been with the Dolphins for 18 seasons, while Turner joined the team's staff prior to the 2012 campaign.
