Minnesota Vikings running back Ben Tate has admitted that he is ready to play a major part for his new side after joining the club during the week.
Tate was released by the Cleveland Browns, but was quickly claimed on the waiver wire by the Vikings to bolster their running game, which has struggled in the absence of Adrian Peterson this season.
He told reporters: "I've got to all focus on football and let everything else happen. Whatever I got to do outside of that is secondary.
"The first thing is making sure I understand my plays and just coming out here ready to go, full speed, and being ready to help in any aspect needed."
The Vikings face the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
