New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has been ruled out for up to two weeks with a knee strain, according to reports.
The 26-year-old was carted off the field during the fourth quarter of his side's defeat to the Denver Broncos on Sunday after being hit in the knee by Darian Stewart.
There were fears that Gronkowski may have suffered the same ACL and MCL tear that ended his 2013 season, but an MRI scan showed only a mild problem, according to several media outlets.
The All-Pro is expected to miss his side's next match against the Philadelphia Eagles, but could return a week later against the Houston Texans.
Gronkowski has recorded 57 receptions for 951 yards and nine touchdowns this season.
