New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady didn't attend the trip to the White House with the rest of his teammates on Thursday.
The signal-caller had a "family commitment" and was unable to make it, according to a team spokesman, while former defensive tackle Vince Wilfork was not in attendance either.
Had the 37-year-old made the trip, it would have been his fourth visit to the White House alongside long-time coach Bill Belichick.
However, he missed the opportunity to visit as a Super Bowl champion under Barack Obama's administration, with the president unable to turn down the chance to joke about 'Deflategate' as he congratulated the team on their success last season.
