New York Giants players hail Terrelle Pryor

New York Giants pair Jon Beason and Justin Tuck admit that they are wary of the threat Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor will pose on Sunday.

A number of New York Giants players have given their views on Terrelle Pryor ahead of Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders.

The rookie has cemented his spot as first-choice quarterback this season with some impressive displays, which included breaking the NFL record for a rushing touchdown by a player in his position when he ran for a 93-yard score against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Giants linebacker Jon Beason is reported as saying in The Bulletin: "He is a freak athlete. To be that big and that fast, that is a tough tackle. You really have to gang tackle an opponent like Pryor."

Pryor stands at 6'4" and weighs 233 pounds, and defensive end Justin Tuck believes that his ability to improvise with the football is the attribute that makes him most dangerous.

Tuck said: "He's not going to stay there (in the pocket) long. He understands how gifted he is as an athlete and considering that most people chasing him are nowhere near as fast as him, he has an advantage.

"He's used to pretty good success. I don't know if he's necessarily looking for it but when the opportunity's there he's not hesitating."

Pryor has 485 rushing yards to his name so far this term and needs just 45 more to break the quarterback franchise record set by Rich Gannon in 2000.
