New York Giants offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo has admitted that he is impatient when it comes to how quickly he wants the team's new offense to click.
The Giants have struggled during two preseason outings so far, with quarterback Eli Manning completing just six of nine passes, with only 43 yards.
In an interview with NY Daily News, McAdoo stated that a fully functioning offense needs to be seen sooner rather than later, for the sake of both the players and the fans.
He said: "You'd like to have that every time you step on the field, but that's not always going to be the case.
"However, at the same point in time, we need to take that leap of faith."
The 37-year-old has replaced the retiring Kevin Gilbride on the Giants' coaching stuff, and he has been tasked with helping Manning overcome the 27 interceptions which he threw last season.
