Philadelphia Eagles coach Chip Kelly has said that Nick Foles will be the team's starting quarterback for the next "1000 years".
Kelly was speaking after his side edged to a 24-21 win over Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, in which Foles produced an outstanding pass to find Zach Ertz in the opening quarter.
"He's the starting quarterback for the next 1,000 years here," Kelly told reporters after the game.
"I hope Nick is here for a long time. I'm a big supporter of him, I think he does a fantastic job, but we also know that injuries occur in this game, and that's why I always qualify what I say. I love the kid and I think he's playing outstanding."
Sunday's win sees the Eagles sitting in second position in the NFC Eastern Division.
