Mohamed Salah has reaffirmed that he is expecting this to be his final season at Liverpool, with the Egypt international again claiming that "no progress" has been made on contract talks with the Merseyside giants.
The 32-year-old is arguably currently the best player in world football when considering his form this season, having scored 20 goals and registered 17 assists in 26 appearances for Arne Slot's side in all competitions.
Salah has 17 goals and 13 assists in 18 league matches this season, with his form helping Liverpool sit at the top of the Premier League table, six points clear of second-placed Arsenal with a game in hand.
However, Salah's contract is due to expire at the end of June, and he continues to be linked with a move away from the club.
A switch to the Saudi Pro League is believed to be a serious possibility, while European clubs in the shape of Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona are said to be keeping a close eye on his situation at Anfield.

Salah says there has been "no progress" in contract talks
When asked by Sky Sports News whether he is expecting the 2024-25 campaign to be his final season at Anfield, Salah said: "So far, yes. It's the last six months. There is no progress there. We are far away from any progress. So, we just need to wait and see."
Salah made the move to Liverpool from Roma in 2017, and he has represented the club on 375 occasions in all competitions, scoring 231 goals and registering 105 assists in the process.
A recent report claimed that the forward had reached an agreement in principle with Liverpool over a new contract, but Salah has claimed that is not the case, with a spectacular exit on a free transfer this summer potentially taking place.
Liverpool are also top of the overall Champions League table this season and among the favourites to win the trophy, but Salah has said that securing the Premier League title is more important to him this term.
"The first thing that was on the list was to win the Premier League with Liverpool," he said. "In my interviews over the last seven or eight years, I always say [I want to win the] Champions League. But this is the first time I'm saying I really want to win the Premier League with Liverpool.
"It's probably because we didn't celebrate the one we won in the way we wanted and also, coming back here too, it's my last year in the club so you want to do something special for the city.
"We waited for that title for 30 years or so. So, to win it and it was the pandemic at that time, we didn't really have time to celebrate it in the right way. It's not a nice thing to do, so hopefully we can do it this year."

Salah insists he has 'no distractions' despite uncertainty regarding future
Salah also insisted that he is not currently being distracted by his contract situation, with the forward only focusing on helping Liverpool enjoy what could be a historic campaign for the Merseyside outfit.
"The thing in my head is that if this is the last six months, what do you want to see in the future? Do you want to look back and say I was concerned or stressed about the contract? Or do you just want to say I had an unbelievable season? That's what is in my head," he said.
"If I ever feel distraction, I just remind myself I want to look back and say I had an unbelievable season. That's what I want to do.
"I always expect big things from myself. I work really hard and when you work so hard you expect the best out of yourself. I always look to put myself really high so I expected high things from myself.
Salah will be taking on his favourite Premier League opposition this weekend, with the Egyptian scoring 15 times in 16 appearances against Man United, who will enter the clash off the back of four straight defeats in all competitions.
