The San Francisco 49ers have activated wide receiver Michael Crabtree to their 53-man roster.
Crabtree was placed on the 49ers' physically unable to perform list in August after he sustained an Achilles injury during the organised team activities in May.
However, he has been practising in recent weeks and the club has now deemed him fit enough to play once again.
The 49ers released quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson to make room for the 26-year-old on their roster.
Jim Harbaugh's side are 7-4 in their season after week 12 following their win over the Washington Redskins.
