San Francisco 49ers linebacker Patrick Willis and cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha miss practice with the team ahead of tomorrow night's game against the St Louis Rams.

Patrick Willis and Nnamdi Asomugha have missed practice with the San Francisco 49ers for a second day.

The linebacker sustained a groin injury during the team's 27-7 defeat to the Indianapolis Colts in the NFL on Sunday, while Asomugha has a knee problem.

The duo were the only players not to take to the practice field yesterday, while tight end Vernon Davis, who missed Sunday's game with a hamstring injury, was limited.

The 49ers face NFC West rivals the St Louis Rams on Thursday.
