Lovie Smith has said that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers would consider using their first-round pick in this year's Draft on a quarterback.
The NFC South side selected Mike Glennon last year, making him their starter midway through the season, but this year's Draft features a number of highly-rated quarterbacks.
The head coach, who will take charge of the team for the first time in 2014, told the Tampa Bay Times: "I know enough about that Draft to know, yeah, there's someone that would be worthy of the seventh pick because everything is on the board right now.
"Whenever you have a chance to get a franchise quarterback, you have to consider that.
"To say right now that Mike is the answer and he's our quarterback of the future and we're going to build around him and give him a 20-year contract right now, you're not there."
The Buccaneers currently hold the seventh pick in May's Draft.
