Washington Redskins coach Jay Gruden has confirmed that quarterback Robert Griffin III will start against the Philadelphia Eagles this weekend.
Colt McCoy will be sidelined for the game after aggravating a nerve in his neck during the first quarter of last week's loss to the New York Giants.
"This is Robert's team right now," Gruden told the media.
"From there, we'll take it one game at a time and make our judgements and conclusions after that."
The Redskins suffered their sixth consecutive defeat last time out, and it has been reported that McCoy could be placed on injured reserve because of his neck issue.
