Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins has revealed that he feels a lot more confident running his side's offense going into his second season.
The 24-year-old was drafted in the fourth round of the 2012 draft after the Redskins selected Robert Griffin III in second overall.
Cousins served as Griffin's backup throughout last season and deputised for him in four games when he was out with injury problems.
Cousins told the Washington Post: "Just the fact I know this offense so much more, understand the game so much more ... all of that should lend itself to my being ready to face what I have to face this preseason.
Washington face the Tennessee Titans in their opening pre-season game.
