Arsenal injury, suspension list and return dates for Chelsea clash: Bukayo Saka latest

Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Chelsea.

Before the international break takes precedence, the Emirates Stadium hosts one final tantalising Premier League London derby, as Arsenal welcome Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.

The Gunners must surely now focus on rubber-stamping a top-four place rather than a fanciful title charge, having now gone three games without a league win after their 1-1 stalemate with Manchester United last weekend.

Mikel Arteta's men could also only draw 2-2 with PSV Eindhoven in Wednesday's Champions League encounter, although that mattered little as they progressed to the last eight via a 9-3 aggregate success.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the Gunners' latest injury and suspension news before their showdown with Chelsea, who are just two places and six points below Arsenal in the Premier League table.

Gabriel Jesus

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

One of two Arsenal attackers out for the rest of the season, Gabriel Jesus ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) against Manchester United in the FA Cup in January, and there is a chance that he could be missing until 2026.

Bukayo Saka

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: April 1 (vs. Fulham)

Bukayo Saka is the next cab off the Arsenal rank in terms of injured players, and even though the visit of Chelsea comes too soon, he may be given the green light to return just after the international break.

Takehiro Tomiyasu

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Takehiro Tomiyasu recently had to undergo an operation to treat the serious knee injury that has limited him to just the one appearance this season, and the Japan international will be recovering for several months yet.

Kai Havertz

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Kai Havertz was seen in attendance at the Emirates on Wednesday evening as he recuperates from a hamstring operation, one that will keep him out of action until pre-season.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Arsenal have no players suspended for this match.
