Chinese hurdler Liu Xiang is reportedly suffering with an Achilles injury ahead of his London Olympics campaign.

China's 110m hurdler Liu Xiang is reportedly suffering with an Achilles injury.

The 29-year-old, who won Olympic gold during the 2004 Games in Athens, sustained the injury while competing in London earlier this summer.

He is expected to compete in the sixth heat of the 110m hurdles at the London Games later today.

However, some reports have claimed that the complaint may hamper his performance.
