England's Dan Greaves beats Aled Davies of Wales to claim gold in the F42/44 discus final.

England's Dan Greaves has beaten favourite Aled Davies of Wales to claim the gold medal in the F42/44 discus final.

A throw of 59.21m from Davies was enough to secure victory as he finished with 1023 points in the mixed classification event at Hampden Park.

Welsh captain Davies finished just 11 points behind his rival in the overall standings, with his throw of 46.83m falling just short of edging out Greaves.

Nigeria's Richard Okigbazi claimed the bronze medal on 844 points thanks to a personal best throw of 39.83m, while India's Jai Deep was forced to settle for fourth.
