English trio Chris Baker, Martyn Bernard and Tom Parsons all progress to the final of the men's high jump in Glasgow, and Olympic medalist Derek Drouin also qualifies.

Team England trio Chris Baker, Martyn Bernard and Tom Parsons have all secured their places in the final of the men's high jump at the Commonwealth Games.

The three Englishmen jumped the qualification height of 2.20m to ensure that they would be among the 13 athletes who will compete for medals on Wednesday.

Scotland's Raymond Bobrownicki also gave the home crowd at Hampden Park something to shout about by qualifying for the final.

Baker was the smoothest of the home nations jumpers, making all three of his heights at the first attempt, while Bernard, Parsons and Bobrownicki each failed once at 2.20m.

World Championship and Olympic bronze medalist Derek Drouin of Canada is also safely through.
