Justin Gatlin put in another blistering Diamond League performance to win the 100m in Monaco in a time of 9.78s this evening.
The 33-year-old, who clocked 9.75s in Lausanne last week, is now unbeaten in 23 races ahead of the World Championships in Beijing next month.
Gatlin finished ahead of fellow American Tyson Gay (9.97s), while France's Jimmy Vicaut was third ahead of Britain's Chijindu Ujah.
World and Olympic champion Usain Bolt is still recovering from injury, but hopes to be fit in time to race in China and also the London Anniversary Games next weekend.
