Paralympian Aled Davies has said that he is aiming to defend both his discus and shot put world titles at the IPC Athletics World Championships next year.
The 23-year-old, who won silver in the men's F42/F44 discus event at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, ends 2014 as a Paralympic, world and European champion.
Welshman Davies is now looking to retain his discus and shot put world titles in Doha next year, although he has had to alter his training schedule as a result of one of his events being dropped from the 2016 Olympic Games programme.
"I'd like to defend my two World Championship titles in Doha next year and come home with two gold medals, but the long-term aim is to go for Paralympic shot put gold in Rio," Davies told British Athletics.
"I'm going to make sure I am in the best position possible to be a contender for that gold medal in Brazil."
Davies extended his F42 discus world record in May with a throw of 49.08m.
