LeBron James will be fit to play in the Cleveland Cavaliers' season opener against the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday, according to reports.
The 30-year-old received an anti-inflammatory injection in his lower back earlier this month but took part in a practice session on Sunday.
"It's a good sign. It's a good step," Cavs coach David Blatt told reporters.
"We'll see how he responds later today and tomorrow, but he did a great job practicing today and hopefully that bodes well for Tuesday."
The 11-time All Star will be playing his 13th season in the NBA.
